Trey Spiva, NetBeans UML Tools, Senior Software Engineer & UML
Tools Architect
Trey Spiva has worked in as a software engineer for 10 years. For 6 of
those years ,Trey worked in the UML modeling domain. In 2000 Trey
joined Embarcadero Technologies to work on the UML product called
Describe. In 2004 Trey left Embarcadero to join Sun to become the UML
Architect for Sun's UML tool that was first shipped with Java Studio
Enterprise in 2004. Trey also taught Java to at Arapahoe
Community College in Denver for 2 years. Since joining Sun, Trey has
had the opportunity to speak at a number of forums, from internal sun
training, customer visits, and JavaOne in 2004.

Craig Conover, NetBeans UML Tools, Software Engineer
Craig Conover is a member of the NetBeans UML Tools engineering team.
He joined Sun in 1998 from the acquisition of application server
startup NetDynamics, where he was a course material producer,
instructor, instructor certifier, and consultant. Craig started
building tools for the Sun Java Studio Enterprise as part of the JATO
(Sun Java System Web Application Framework) engineering team to create
visual RAD tools for JATO-based applications. His current focus is on
enhancing the UML tools NetBeans module. Craig has many years of
experience as a technical speaker from his days as a NetDynamics
instructor, and presenting at the first (and last) NetDynamics User
Conference, several Sun Tech Days, internal sales engineer training
conferences and Java One 2004.
